With all the discussion about videos.....

I realize I now have a question! I need to let my video guy know what songs we want... can you guys tell me where the songs go in the video besides with baby pictures?

we have songs playing:
at my house before church
people arriving at church / walking in

then, music during the cocktail hour and the re-cap. I think thats it.

We didn't pick the songs ourselves, we left it up to our photographer. He used our first dance song for the re-cap.

We had originally wanted to pick the songs, but had a hard time getting in touch to get the pics. to the video guy. He went ahead and choose the music for us & called to say it was done, but when I heard the songs he said he picked we both knew we would be disapointed. He choose that St. Elmos Fire song & Beautiful Day by U2 & something else. Nice songs, just not our style! Our reception music was lots of classic rock & oldies! And I also NEED to have that Muppets wedding scene (I know some may think it's cheesy ) BUT our first date ever was going to see a Muppet Christmas Carol together, so it has silly meaning for us!

I am hoping to get American Girl (Tom Petty) somewhere in there because I so wanted it played at the reception & it was one of the songs that got skipped due to some time constraints. Maybe during the cocktail hour scenes!! (FYI married July 4th!)

And maybe for the recap I would like our 2nd song 'Sea of Love' Honeydrippers.

Still thinking about baby pics. through us together through all our 9 1/2 years of dating. Plus there are a few group shots of us with our friends through the years. One I had thought of was maybe Billy Joel 'These are the times to remember'. ANY OTHER IDEAS?!!!!!
