Wonderful dog for adoption

Hi All,
I posted about my mom's dog a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have pics of the dog at the time, but I do now. Kimi is a wonderful dog and is great with children. She was adopted from the North Shore animal league in May of '07, 3 months before my father passed away. She was really my dad's dog, and my mom has been having a hard time taking care of her. My mom was never a dog person, and feels that she is not giving kimi the love and attention she needs. Furthermore, I think Kimi continues to be a painful reminder to my mom, and my mom recently hurt her knee and has a hard time walking her. If you, or anyone you know is interested in adopting this wonderful dog, please send me a FM. Kimi currently resides in Mill Basin, Brooklyn. She is about 3 years old and is a mutt, but mostly black lab.

Your mom should contact North Shore first to make sure there wasn't a stipulation in the adoption contract that says the dog must be returned to them if she can't keep it. I know the shelter I work for has the clause...whether it is 2 weeks or 5 years.

Just FYI

Wow, thanks, never thought of that. We wanted to find her a home rather than bring her back there -- I thought it would be cruel to bring her back. But now, I remember hearing about something like that happening to Ellen...
