that one is definitely on my list.

but what drives me nuts is the improper and overuse of words like 'basically.' also hate the phrase 'I hate to say it, but...' which my DH has taken to using (I swear) every 3 sentences.

Oh I'm not a fan of that word either! It annoys me when I hear people use it.

I am not a fan of 'daycation' either.

I don't think we need to coin a term for them either.

it just sounds stupid.

i equate *box* with *vagina* so that's a funny phrase to me...

words..and this is thanks to an old boss who over used them:

proactive (not the acne medicine)...but as in 'the art department needs to be more proactive'

phenominal - we would get prototypes in and that is how he would describe them

my annoying phrase (also thanks to him)...'we're getting there!!' I heard this for almost 8 years while working there...i wanted to scream 'let me know when we ARE there!!!!!!'
