Work Related Question on Reinbursments

If you know what is your company/org's staff reinbursement process? Looking to implement a new process and Im in the design phase.. any ideas welcomed..

We have consultants and 'field staff' that are on the road a lot. Our procees takes over a month... for folks to get a check... lots of issues on getting a status of your check and such....

We do everything through oracle - so submit online - it gets approved through our manager and we have to mail in receipts and then get checks back - I think some folks get their checks back through direct deposit but mine comes the snail mail -It's still pretty fast though - turn around in a little over a week but I don't know all the specifics about how it works. .
