Work Related Vent

I am not feeling so great today and I was laying down for a nap. At 1:30, my assistant bureau chief calls from a blocked number, and I answered as I have some friends who have blocked numbers and she was annoying me about some case that is coming in on TUESDAY!!!

HI..you can't just leave me the f#$K alone on my darn day off instead of questioning me on something ridiculous! It is not like I have the file in front of me or at home (which she knew) and I believe she was visiting this client today like I believe that I have a good chance at winning a million dollars this evening. She was just doing this to annoy me, trust me. I promise this time even DH knows I am not reading into this because she has a track record of 'visiting' clients and then when we are in court (and I am handling the case) she pretends like something accidentally happened, like all of the sudden there was the biggest unexplained emergency that prevented her for two weeks from visiting a certain client that she made a big stink about originally.

Besides, once again, what did she actually think I was going to remember? And also, does she really think she will actually be the one handling the case (she mysteriously disappears when her cases are called and then guess who is stuck doing them )

oh man that stinks...i have a few friends with 'private caller'...and half the time i let the machine pick up incase it's NOT them! They always ask 'are you screening?' and i say NO...your freakin number is blocked so i don't know it's you!

Want me to kick her butt for you???? cause i will! haha...hope you are feeling better!!!

Apparently she does this to everyone. She is just a pain and has nothing better to do with her time. She is always cutting out of work and I am fortunate enough to share the same courtroom as her and she wants to make it seem like she works so hard.

Ugh... she's needs to be taking out to the parking lot, if you know what I mean!!!

So sorry Michelle, that lady sounds nuts! Someday either she or you will move on and you won't have to work with her anymore. Ten deep breathes and then let it go! Enjoy the rest of your day!

ugh - i'm so sorry michelle. i had people annoy me today too! PEOPLE CAN JUST BE SO RIDICULOUS but tommorrow is another day & i'm sure it'll be a better one! hugs!
