Re: Working out in the AM
At least you're working out. I am so not prepared for bpics and wish I was in better shape. I hope she does wonders with that camera lense!

Re: Working out in the AM
Well the ONLY reason I got out of bed this morning was bpics.
So i figure pilates in the am then Jillian Michaels PM. It has to do SOMETHING for me.

Re: Working out in the AM
I find that even if I am tired, I feel so much better the rest of the day. Energized and awake when I work out in the morning

THIS!! I can't get myself to go at night after working all day and having a 12 hour day with my commute.

Re: Working out in the AM
This was a tip I once heard - applies to ANY workout:
** Do it for 10 minutes... if after 10 minutes, you still don't want to be exercising, then stop. But for most people, that first 10 minutes is the hardest and once you're into it, you won't stop!

Also make sure you eat something light before hand such as a banana or something. Working out on an total empty stomach in the morning is a big no no. I think it's easier for me to work out in the am during the winter months because the cold wakes me up. In the summer/spring I try to work out after work and outside to enjoy the weather.

Re: Working out in the AM
As soon as I wake up I drink a 7 or 5 hr energy after I brush my teeth.
Also, I have all my workout clothes ready from the night before, it makes it easier to just throw on and get out the door.

I have no choice. I don't get home until after 8-9pm some nights, and there's certainly no way I'm working out that late!

Re: Working out in the AM
i'm training for the NYC marathon, so it's critical that i get all my runs in. so, the only way to ensure this happens is to do them before work. it sux, but i love knowing that when work is over, i don't have to run again!
DH has to be at work at 6:45am, so now we get up together, which also gives me more motivation to do my workouts.
