DH and I r going to North Carolina in April for our niece's b-day. I looked at flights and found round-trip on US Airways for $329 TOTAL for both people. So freaking cheap. I am petrified of flying in general and am scared to take US Airways bc of the landing on the Hudson. DH says I'm being silly. Would u fly on US Airways?

yea why not? And the crash tells me that they have experienced pilots that do not panic in emergencies and are heroes.
besides- its like everyone says, you are more likely to get into an accident on the way to the airport than in a plane

Ive flown US Airways a million times. You will be fine. Not to scare you, but that type of incident could happen to any airline.
Look on the bright side a US Airways pilot saved all those lives!!

That flight had nothing to do with the airline. Blame it on the birds . Maybe you'll be lucky enough to have Sully as your pilot, then you will know you are in good hands!!

It's so true. Things like that can happen on any airline. But you'll be fine!! It's cheap! book it!

I'd book it!
But if you're really uncomfortable I got about the same price round trip for both DH and & I to go to Florida at the end of the month using JetBlue.

Yes. I dont think one airline is safer than others, although I prefer Jetblue but bc the seats are bigger and they have TV's
