If someone RSVP'd 'yes' (for 2) and didn't show up (no call or anything). We haven't seen them since the wedding but we're going to probably bomp into them at our friends next weekend. They're more friends of friends then our actual friends. I feel like I have to say something, but I really don't have a filter on my mouth and may be a total b****.

I think completely ignoring them might be more powerful than saying something.

We had the same thing but they called us a month later to apologize and we just never called them back

Re: Would u say anything....
I'd just ignore them, they're not worth it.
I had a friend RSVP yes and didn't show up, I waited months and months after the wedding for him to email or call and to this day he's never contacted me or gave an explanation.
I know he's not dead or anything because I saw he was still logging into his myspace account. I didn't say anything to him, but I did delete him my myspace friends.

I agree. Let them bring it up if it's going to be brought up. Otherwise just let it go.

I wouldn't say anything...let them greet you first and bring it up to you. If they don't, they aren't worth your time and trouble....

I wouldnt be able to NOT say something. I would probably casually say something obnoxious like, 'heyyyy! I was so disappointed when I saw your seats empty at the wedding! What happpppened????'

me too - I would just have to say something - I'm not good at holding things in! It also could be fun to make them squirm

DId something happen to them?
I wouldn't say anything. At the end of the day you are married and shared the day with people you love and love you in return.
Do you really have to have the last word?

This happened to us too. I haven't talked to them and don't plan on it. I can understand if something happened, like an emergency or whatever. But at least have the decency to let us know what happened!

that's exactly what I would say. I wouldn't ignore them at all...YOU be the bigger person & 'genuinely' kill 'em with kindness...i'd wanna know anyway!

I also agree. They were rude to have not called you since then, but let them bring it up.. maybe something happened, so give them a chance to bring it up.... if they dont then ignore them, not worth drama.

Re: Would u say anything....
We had the same thing happen! One of DH's friends RSVP'd yes, and then a few days after we got his RSVP, we got an invite to his wedding.... we must have been his B list but whatever. DH RSVP'd yes to their wedding because they were coming to ours... Fast forward to our wedding day, they did a no show, no call, NOTHING.. so WE called him the week of their wedding to tell them we couldn't make it. His friend NEVER said anything about not showing to our wedding.. So I'm glad we didn't go to theirs. I actually wanted to do the no show back to them, but DH was the bigger person. lol
If I had to see them, which I'd rather not, I would just go with the flow. If its brought up, I'd say something but otherwise, I'd just ignore it.
