...if your DH posted a message on facebook commenting that a girl in a bikini looked good? This girl (a classmate) was holding a textbook on a beach in a bikini, and he wrote, 'wow, that textbook never looked so good!'

Now, I know DH is totally loyal and meant nothing serious. But I thought it was rude and disrespectful. I made him delete it.

hmmm....that's a toughy. honestly - it meant absolutely NOTHING...boys are stupid..think of it as if u were walking down the block with ur g/f's and saw a hottie walking towards u & u all giggled and said how cute he was...it's kinda the same thing...
HOWEVER, that being said it would probably just weird me out being 1) that it's someone we know & that 2) he actually publicly posted it. I'm not a jealous person, but i dont think it's all that respectful to your wife to do something like that, silly or not ya know? i'd pick ur battles and not 'fight' about it, just let him know that it hurt u a little bit & bummed out ur confidence a little. he'll get the hint and after he thinks about it for a while he'll feel like a jerk.. all that to say, yes lol.it would probably annoy me & i'd let him know it. it's a HUGE blow to a guy's confidence when a girl does something like that to them...i dont get why they can't realize it's the same thing!

::sigh:: why couldn't God just make men & women more alike?? it would make things so much more easier! lol. stupid boys.

Yes, I would. It is not the same thing as saying something out loud to someone....putting it out there online is a little disrepectful to your wife. I probably would have done the same exact thing, made him delete it (how would he feel if you wrote something similar online about a hottie ?!)

Exactly. I wouldn't be mad that he thought another girl was pretty but the fact that it is disrespectful to me and on a public forum where other people can see it.

VERY TRUE!!!! i mean him thinking another girl is attractive is fine with me, its human nature. But to say it on a public forum and to the person then its different.

I am sure he didnt realize what he was doing was wrong, bc im gonna guess he wouldn't have done it. Are they like real good friends that grew up together? maybe they are close like that where they feel its ok to say it to eachother, not sure trying to find the positive
