Would you believe...

that I am home from work today because of snow and ice?!!!!? YIPPIE! I thought my free days because of weather were long gone when I moved to Dallas!

How bad is it in Dallas? My sister lives in Arlington and I can't imagine she is home due to snow and ice?!? That bum! b

I would bet your sister is home. Honestly, it is not that bad in my opinion. But to these Texans an inch of snow or ice is the end of the world! In anticipation of bad weather, people left my office at like 3 pm yesterday! A bit extreme in my mind. There really is no reason preventing me from going to work today besided the fact that we follow what the school districts do and that no one is in the office! In New York this would be a normal business as usually day, but here in Texas people think it is the end of the world! Hey works for me! I get to watch Oprah today!
