cut your wedding gown for a future use???

ex: like for a christening or something....

I couldnt do it... maybe it was b.c it was just so soon after the wedding I got pregnant... ( well that and thank god it was a boy!!)

My MIL did this for myself and her daughter, our garters and purses were made of her dress. I think thats what i will do with it later on...but i have time to make that decision

I'm going to use the extra fabric from my dress and bridesmaids dresses to make a baby quilt/blanket, but I don't think I could ever cut up my dress.
