I love the idea of renewing our vows maybe for our 5th or 10th anniversary. If we did, I would do a small get together of just immediate family and a few close friends, have a ceremony on a beach then do a barbecue or picnic on the beach. Nothing fancy, I'd get a simple wedding dress, nothing poofy and big like my original wedding dress. It would definitely be a low budget event but I'd try to have it still be beautiful and romantic.

I would...I think that it is nice bc the first time is blissful and new....but to be able to stand there 10,15, 20+ years later really is an accomplishment and should be celebrated

we definitely would. we talk about doing this for our 10 year anniv. i think it would be sweet for our future kids to see their parents renewing their vows and i would love to incorporate the kids into the ceremony somehow. i think we would also definitely do things small and intimate but i'd probably still want a big, poofy dress

I would want to do it for our 10th anniversary (which would be 15 years us being together) maybe even the 15th. I like the idea of doing it after a lot of time has passed and with kiddies being there.

I am already mentioning it to DH. I want to do it for our 10th yr. I think I would want to do a beach theme (small wedding) Way more simple then our wedding, but a celebration with our family and close friends. I think I will start the planning 3 yrs before we reach our 10th ann. I would love to be surprised like the George Lopez did in the Lopez show (for those that have caught the show)

I'd love to do it, very small and intimate, not on a beach, but in a garden or vineyard setting.
I don't feel that the vows would take anything away from our original vows, the renewal vows would include our past and how we apply it to the future. Our original vows were special to us because DH and I married late. It is a first marriage for each of us. It will also be the last marriage for each of us.
