Wow! This year has flown!

I can't believe that one year ago today, DH and I got married! Time definately flies when you're having fun and although this year had it's ups and downs (not between DH and I but other issues), we moved 600 miles away, sold my mother's place on LI, and now I'm married 1 year!! Things have changed, but certainly for the better... we are totally 'together', do what we need to do, what we want to do and there's little to no friction on anything - whether it's dinner or who's doing what or anything

When I look back at my parent's marriage, I am very thankful that I found a man who is very easy going, helpful, involved and loving. I am very lucky

This Friday, we will make my life-long dream come true of owning a house - our first 'home' and I'm SO excited, I can't even believe it. This is so much more exciting then moving down here to NC, and a bit more exciting then our wedding itself (even though we will be paying for this for 30 years ) (Oh yea, and it's quite a bit mroe work too )

Thank you all for the support of the past 1 1/2 years - you girls are all wonderful and I wish you all a lifetime of happiness!!!!!

Congrats!!! I am sure the time does fly by!!! Enjoy the next year & being a homeowner!!! It is the best!!!

Annie, you are the best! When you look at all that you have, remember how much you deserve every bit of it!!!

Thanks ladies - it was so nice to receive the cards and phone calls from friends and family. It's like our own little holiday,right?!

Well, we closed yesterday and it's so exciting!! I can't wait to start painting and unpacking..... the items we received from my shower ( April 2005) and wedding have been in the original boxes (with the exception of the everyday china) since we received them, so it'll be like Christmas since I can't remember what we got!!!
