My agency is looking to hire an Assistant Account Executive with 1-2 years in PR. Our agency specializes in hospitality and travel PR.

Applicants should be team players - polished, enthusiastic, service-oriented and eager to learn. PR experience with the travel, real estate and/or lifestyle industries is a plus, but not required.

Strong writing and verbal skills are imperative. The position will be responsible for securing press coverage on behalf of clients; developing, launching and executing strategic PR plans; and developing and maintaining relationships with national, regional, and trade media — print, TV, radio and online. In addition, the position will be responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks including maintaining databases, sending out press releases, updating press materials, social media tracking, maintaining and qualifying media leads, monthly updates and reports.

Qualifications:
- College degree and at least 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Excellent social media knowledge and proven execution
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and focused on achievement
- An enthusiastic team player
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of / experience in hospitality industry a plus
- Can legally work in the US
- Excellent computer / web skills
- Excellent writing / communication skills
