I was wondering if anyone has heard from their vendors since the wedding. I haven't heard from mine and you would think they would call to see if we are satisfied. I think it would be good business. Although I am mostly thrilled with how my wedding turned out, I am bothered by a few things the caterer and the band DIDN'T do. I feel like calling them, but what is the point now that it is over. What does everyone think?

I made sure that I called all of my vendors after we returned from our honeymoon to say thank you. I would hope in the very least that you've seen or spoken to your photographer/videographer, since they don't complete their services until some time after the wedding day. But, if there were some things that didn't go as planned or as contracted on your wedding day, I don't think there is anything wrong with you calling the vendors to let them know you were disappointed. As a matter of business, they should be open to all feedback - good and bad - that is how they know to try harder next time for you, if they want your business again.
Edited to add - I wouldn't expect any vendors to call you. They are all probably so busy, and they have most likely moved onto the next customer by now.

I've talked to almost all of my vendors since the wedding but not to give feedback. I also sent thanks you's to a few.
Obviously I'd be in touch with the videographer and photographer. I went by my florist for some flowers last time I was home and just to say Hi and thanks again cause he was so wonderful.
I only just heard from Lands End last week, because they saw some pictures I had posted and want to use them for their website, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been in contact with them.
If it'll make you feel better, give them a call and let them know whats bothering you. It may help future brides. I wouldn't expect them to call you, though I agree it'd be a nice gesture.

I've heard from the photograpers and are satisfied with their work. It is really just the band and caterer that I wasnt to say something to.

I spoke with practically all my vendors, my photographer and videographer more so than any others. Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers called to find out how our HM was, she even sent hubby and I a Christmas card. I speak with my Florist all the time. I do not expect them to call or do anything, it was business not a friendship. I owe them nothing and they owe me nothing. THey deliverd on my wedding day and that's all that counts. I did send TYC to a few of them.

None of my vendors have contacted me.
Obviously I have been in touch with photo/video to pick up my work an dstart on my albums but that is with other people not the photographer and videographer that did the work that day.
I did call my hall to tell them how pleased I was and give them a special thank you. I also stopped by once to pick up something that I left behind and talked to a couple people then.
I do plan on sending thank-you's, when they are ready, to most of my vendors.
The one vendor I am disappointed with, Coach Bus, I plan on calling...I just haven't had the time during business hours to place that call.

I got a thank you card from my photogragher, ceremony musicians, officiant, a timely refund check from my caterer with a nice note, I emailed my DJ/video & he got back to me. I didn't speak to my florist. I'm sending my thanks you's out this week.

Ive spoken to my photographer, videographer and coordinator several times since the wedding - mostly friendly emails not specific feedback requests. I havent spoken to any of my other vendors nor do I expect to.

I have spoken to my video, photographer and coordinator and calligrapher. I plan on sending thank you cards to all of my vendors. I have been busy with the holidays and I am sure my other vendors have been really busy too.
