I know how you feel, DH plays in a band (hasn't played much recently) and within a year 3 of the couples split and I used to hang with the wives/girlfriends too. It got to the point where I was the only one sitting by myself. So I know exactly how bummed you are.

yea its hard when you are friends with a group and couples break up. dh's best friend has had a couple of girlfriends that I loved and it was a difficult split for all of us- but you are right its not really easy to stay friends.

He plays blues - drums......he hasn't played in a while but hoping to get back into playing. What does your DH play.

It is hard when you are there by yourself....especially when you have guys at the bar thinking your alone and they think it is an open invitation to try to pick you up and buy you a drink

I been there sooo many times. My ex's and my husband were all in bands. Constantly flow of in and outs as i refer to them. My husband's last band had two guys who had the most amazing gf's and they were with each other for a few years and then one day gone - never heard from them nothing. I realize relationship come and go but it ***** when you been with these people for so long that they just disappear!

As far as shows, if you need people to come sit with you send the invite out.

I'm sorry - that is a bummer! Be glad that you liked them at all. When DH was playing in bands and touring (he's a trumpet player too) I totally disliked some of the significant others of the band members. Haha, I disliked some of the band members too! Man, did we have fun though!
