yeah, I don't know if i really would do all THAT. I'm just wistfully dreaming. Part of me thinks I'll definitely speak up tho if DH isn't here when he comes.

he has some nerves, I hate going into my tenant apt. but I have to when I have to get something done, like change a window, check for water leaks as my water bill has come in at over $500 I would never go to the apt for the hell of it. after all if there is any damages due to your 'dog' he can handle that when you guys move out, that's why he has a security deposit. I can't live in my house cause the mortgage is super high (trying to get rid of it) anyways. I wouldn't want to rent a house knowing that the landlord can just come buy. We live in an apt. which is part of many buildings. any problems we would deal with is missing a rents payment, otherwise we don't deal with noone. I feel bad for you guys cause if this is very often, you run the risk of getting really upset and telling him off and him not giving you a new lease, but sometimes can't let that worry you. Landlords have their rights the same way that tenants do. I suggest that you look up your laws (especially about how many times he can come over). Like I said I know you are to inspect the house before teh renewal of a lease, and of course if there are slight issues, but not because he wants to walk his butt around your apt.
