Fams **** at times... esp things that in laws say and do... DH and I just had fight recently that went like this:

DH: 'I cant stand when your ______ does this'
Me: ' Well, your ____ is no better...'

And it just snowballed from there....

So really, just try not to take everything to heart... It'll end up causing probs between you and DH... Their comments mean jack sh*t... esp when its done on FB!!!!!!!!!

i know it's hard, but try to not let it get to you. i dont know the relationship you have with ur SIL, but maybe she was trying to make the bday girl feel special.

Maybe she's one of those type of people who is looking to get you annoyed?

Some people do things like that just to be hurtful and to see if you'll care.

Either way, I wouldn't give her the reaction she's most likely looking for. From what I see on here, you are a very sweet person and she's lucky to have you as a SIL.

Try not to sweat it. It's her loss.

aw that stinks! yeah there is def no need for her to write that - you can say nice things to people without comparing them to other people. .

like I would NEVER put happy birthday to my best friend on FB - maybe one of my best etc. . but why would you frame things like that..

She probably didnt even think about it - which doesn't sound like a stretch - and I would try not to let it bother you. (I know that's hard)

Some people just aren't as sensitive to other people as they should be - sounds like she's kind of self centered in general. .
