I completely agree. My cousins school was just told they are not to do ANY handwriting, vocabulary or spelling next year so that they can have extra time for high grades on the state exams... Um... isn't writing important?

The school by us is taking them in... its so disgusting.... honestly :(

really....you would think they had morals right??? and compassion!!!! it is disgusting!!

My husband left the diocese because of this reason... you would think they would be christians...

However.... I will quote him

'They're wolves in sheeps clothing'

And I am seeing it now and it makes me sick...

And then to hear whats going on with Laurens school, it's like... WHERE ARE PEOPLES MORALS?? it has nothing to do with being achristian it has to be with doing the right thing for other HUMANS!!

Oh that is horrible!!

It's really sad how some churches are run. The agency I work for used to rent a building from a church to run a day program for developmentally disabled adults... we admitted a bunch of new people who were severely challenged and the church decided not to renew the lease because these people were 'too retarded.'

They are talking about merging grades... ONE CLASS per grade! How are u going to fit 50 children into ONE CLASSROOM

yes!!!!! thats what they r doing in her school..she is a 5th grade teacher and they want to take the 2 classes and merge them to one which would leave her out

This is disgusting beyond words. I wished I had a house large enough where I could just take them all in....I mean how do you do that to someone of the church like that? I am shaking my head in disgust Those poor nuns. & Jenny I do pray that your job is safe - you of all people do NOT need this type of added stress right now.
