Last couple of times I tried to ship things out to my friends, the package was over 30.00 flat rate!!

Anyone know if fed ex or something else would be better?

I don't know the best way to ship stuff there but 30.00 doesn't actually sound that awful for across the ocean but I can ask my SIL who's from there and travels/sends things there all the time. . she's out of the country until wed but I can check in with her

for the 2nd. do you mean to buy something in the UK and just send it to them. . I think almost any store that takes credit at all should do it. . what type of thing are you looking for. .

Its pretty much not what we are used to for mailing over a candy bar... We've been shipping for years to the UK(my family/friends are all there) and lately it seems like the post office is overcharging for all international

We sent a bag of chips last week with a candy bar and it was 30.00. Small box, weighed nothing.

Makes me so maddd they were never this much!

I shipped something out to my friend in Paris and i think it came out to like 15 on USPS. you can check the rates on USPS just type in the address and weight. You can also print out the postage and you save money that way. The method of shipping was SUPER slow so I think he got the package in like a week. HTH

OMG I WISHHH

We used to ship back and forth alot, and i noticed their shipping hasnt gone up but ours has! Makes me so angry because she literally sent over a bag of things for my baby shower to surprise me and I want to send over things to her :(
Makes me sad....

DH has an internet business and ships overseas all the time. He said the cheapest is USPS......fedex and ups want a fortune.
