XOXO

Maybe a road trip to Maryland? Or Boston? Or even do a Sex in the city style manhattan trip? Google is your friend! Lol but def figure out something sans airfare, unless you can get Myrtle beach on spirit for $9! They run crazy specials sometimes!

Good luck!

If she really wants to travel, I say go for it, but try to avoid flying on Holiday weekends. Airfare is usually higher on a holiday weekend. Once everyone starts getting amrried and having babies, these type of girl trips will become far and few between so I say go for it!!!

You can also look into renting a house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina on the beach. This way you guys can drive and be on the water??

I have a couple feelings on this situation.

First, if she's your best friend, then talk to her. Tell her your concerns. Ask her if it is more important to her to go away for her Bach Party or have more people there. We went to Florida for mine and a lot of my friends d*cked out on me. They kept asking 'isn't it more important that everyone is there?' My response was 'I told you 2 years ago we were going away, I get one Bach Party in my life, and this is what's going on. If you can come, then come, if not, then don't.' If she thinks it's more important to her to have everyone there she might give you another option.

Second, I have a VERY strong feeling about being in people's bridal parties. I don't mean to offend anyone by saying this but when you accept a bridal party invite, there are things that go along with it. If you think that those are some things that you cannot swing at that time in your life, then you kindly explain to that person why and work something else out. (I think I'm just sensitive since almost my entire bridal party backed out of my Bach Party trip when they had 2 years to save for it and I went to their cr*p when I couldn't afford it).

Third, try to come up with another option. There are always deals on flights, especially now. RESEARCH! Ask around and see if anyone has a hook at an airline or try to cut costs elsewhere. It ended up being less money for my Bach Party then my friends in AC because we were able to get free rooms at the Hard Rock.

Forth, try the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fl. It's AWESOME and you can do everything there that you can do in Vegas but don't have to worry about everyone going so far away from each other if they want to split up. Flights to Ft. Lauderdale are a lot cheaper then Vegas.

Like I said, talk to your friend and see what is more important. There are 100 different things you can do that don't involve flying. Columbus Day weekend is AWESOME in Providence, RI (their little Italy even throughs this HUGE party/parade). Veteran's Day weekend might have better prices because more people have off Columbus Day then Veteran's Day so it's more traveling.

Good luck and try to have fun with it. I'm sure your friend will love anything you plan!

ITA 100%. At first DH and I were planning something local and more affordable to accommodate everyone but we realized that we weren't thrilled with the plans. We really wanted to go to Vegas and decided that it was more important to do exactly what WE wanted than for everyone to be able to make it because you know what, chances are, people won't make it for one bull sh it reason or another to ANYTHINGGG local or not.

The last thing I wanted was to do something to make other people happy and then for it not to be what I imagined or wanted. I had accomodated other people so many times during our wedding planning and I was fed up

So We understood not everyone could come but we had 14 people who did and it was a great crowd and such a fun weekend. and exactly what we wanted! we did a ton of research as well and it was about 550 pp

talk to your mutual friends. get a head count of who will make it. then talk to the bride and tell her the deal. if she wants to go to Vegas, then she should be able to go IMO but with the understanding that not everyone will be able to make it.

Join travelzoo and other hotel discount websites. Also try to join the hotels actual websites. You can find some awesome deals! Travelzoo is actually running a 2-Night Vegas Hard Rock sale right now for $179, I don't know any info though, I didn't read it, just saw it, clicked, and came here to past it.
