there is an organization of bikers who also attend the soldiers funerals in an effort to keep these &^%$@# from disturbing the grieving families....yeah for bikers!!!!

If these people (the religious freaks) hate America so much (they say God hates America & drag the flag on the ground) i say we round them up & send them to Afghanistan where they can live with other people who feel the way they do!

Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

I AM SO with you Kath! LOL We're not the best country in the world but if we were any other country, the complaining people wouldn't get away with half what they do here. We're not perfect but its OUR country. Be loyal and try to accept the good with the bad or go home!

I have friends in the military. One actually was sent home last year because he killed a young boy-kid was about 10 years old and firing at his unit. They didn't know they were kids. His son is only a little younger than that boy, so he took it REALLY hard.

Our soldiers are just people. Some aren't the best people but most of them are young people just wanting to make a difference the only way they can think to. To call them all baby killers and murderers...just insane. Families are losing their loved ones who are trying to defend their country..if you cant have compassion for the soliders, you would think people would have compassion enough for the families to KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT!

Go Bikers!

I cannot believe how disgusting and disrespectful some people are. It's just truly, truly sad.

DH has friends & family in the military too...these morons don't realize it is these very soldiers who have sacrificed and died so that THEY have the right to protest and keep their beliefs (however warped and ridiculous)...I'd love to join the bikers but I wouldn't be able to be non-violent...i'd want to beat the crap out of them...especially when they hold signs that say 'Thank God for 9-11' at their protests...where the F&^% were they on 9-11? Probably in a corn field cheering.

Yeah Bikers

this makes me so sad & so angry at the same time...especially being that i'm a christian. i can not even fathom doing such a thing. His FUNERAL?!?!!! his poor family - it is nothing but disrespect.
