Xpost from LIF: Need help looking for a shelf for kitchen

I posted this on LIF -- but since I never post on the Home board, they might not answer me immediately. so i figured i'd try here too. this is my exact post from over there:



hey everyone--never posted over here...1st timer on this board!

DH and i moved into a new apartment--and space is limited. in our old place we bought this railway shelf system that we found randomly at wal-mart. it basically is a a steel bar that you attached a basket and shelf too as well as hanging S hooks to hang spoons and utsensils. it was great. DH figured we could just buy another one vs. taking the other one down since he anchored it into the wall (our landlord liked it so we left it there for them).

well it turns out we can NOT find it anywhere now. they don't sell it at wal-mart any longer and its killing me cause i would love to put it over our sink and stove like we did before for spics, spoons, etc.

the closest thing i've found is this from The Container Store--unfortunately the large Steel Grid that you attach everything too is back ordered...as well you have to buy everything separate.




is there anywhere that you can suggest or find that i could find something similiar?? TIA!

checked online--not seeing anythign but the magnetic strip for knives. :-P

i should smack DH in a face with a frying pan for being too lazy to take the old one off the wall. it was effing perfect

thanks--i'm looking now. i wish it wasn't black! i love the chrome look. but i'll be checking this site now to see if they have anything else.

its funny cause i think Kitchenaid made the rack we found -- it was sooooo random and i can't believe i can't find it again!!!!

omg someone on LIF found it for me--but its out of stock right now. this is excatly what we had in our old place--we separated it into 2 sections. its from Closetmaid not kitchen aid.

but you can see why i want it again--its so great for a little organization above the sink & stove!
