I have the Rival Crock Pot, the 'real' Crock Pot, so I'd be more inclined to keep that one. I haven't had any problems with it the few times I've used it.

I have something like the second one. Actually it's just a plain old ceramic slow cooker. No chrome and nothing fancy and it works fine. Just look at the manuel it came with.
