Yay, we got pre-qualified
As some of u know, I've been stalking every house-hunting website for the past few months. I wasn't sure what the next step would be. DH's friend's mom is a realtor and I called her last week. She put me in touch w/ someone at her agency so we could figure out 'how much can we afford.' The woman called me today. She went over everything w/ me over the phone (credit score, savings, debts, everything)-----I totally wasn't expecting her to help so much! We're pre-qualified for a mortgage now.
I am so excited bc we really weren't sure how we were going to start the process. DH must have forgotten his phone at home today bc I didn't hear from him all day. I can't wait to get home to tell him!

PS----I shoud mention that I was not always the most responsible person back-in-the-day. I used to have horrible credit and I've been working hard to build it up. When she told me my score today, I was thrilled. What a relied!
