Yes vs. No

I just posted this on the BHB's boeards but I didn't get too may responses. I was wondering if any of you could help me with this...

For those of you that have already gotten your responses back...or got married already...

How many people did you invite and how many people out of that number responded yes?

Just curious. We invited 18 more people than our room holds...risky...I know!!!

invited 240 (a lot of these were &guest and out of the country)
I think about 155 accepted..

18 over should be no big deal..the average attrition rate is about 20%

invited 280 (lots of out of state/country) wound up with 209. had a guarantee of 125

i think you will be fine with 18 over

Actual acceptance: 150 (including children)

Estimated reject: 70
Actual rejection: 140

Our rejection rate is higher than the acceptance rate. We had to use our 'B' list to get more acceptances to meet our minium guantree.
