I am sorry but I wanted to ask those who have done it.
The little seals I got with my invites (we chose silver double hearts), do they go on the inner envelope or the outer?
Thank you so much for the help.

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
Hi ya Jenn!
I put my seals on the outer envelopes (the one I addressed) since my inside one wasn't sealed (licked).
You are getting close!!!

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
I didn't use any seals on my invites, but I thought it was pretty common to leave the inner envelope unsealed. But, do whatever you prefer - they are YOUR invites, Jenn!

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
The reason I put ours on our inner, is that I figured the outer envelope would get ripped and tossed, so I put it on the inner. Who knows which is right, who notices. Do enie meenie, miney, mo and whichever one come up do that one

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
I placed it on the outer. If you put them on the outer, make sure the envelopes are sealed before placing them. The seals are not enough to keep everything together.

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
We bought gold heart seals to match our wedding theme color champagne with our names on it. We of course put them on the outer envelope on the back, in the middle of the envelope.
Once you receive your invitations and envelopes, you may wonder how to put them all together. Follow these simple directions for a perfectly assembled ensemble:
Folding Your Invitations Each invitation description is accompanied by a definition of how the invitation folds.
Arranging the Enclosures Enclosures should be arranged with reception cards next to the invitation, followed by response cards (tuck the card under the flap of the response envelope) with map cards last.
For vertical or horizontal folders with your wording printed inside, place the enclosure cards inside.
For vertical or horizontal folders with your wording printed on the front, or for invitation cards, place the enclosures in front.
For French-folds, z-folds or tri-folds, enclosures are placed inside the second fold. Inserting Into Envelopes
Insert invitations into inner envelopes folded edge first (wording or design facing you).
Place inner envelopes in outer envelopes with the front of the inner envelopes facing you.

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
Jenn, I put mine on the outer. I was told that you dont seal the inner envelope. In my opinion, it should be the outer. Good luck to you with mailing them, etc...

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
We put ours on the outer envelope too. Just make sure you seal the outer envelope before sticking the little seals on. I had friends who thought that the little seals would be enough, and some people got empty envelopes! They had to resend all their invites!

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
Most seals I've ever seen were on the outer envelope.

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
Most inner envelopes doesn't have glue to be sealed. I always thought the inner envelope is not supposed to be sealed. The seal sticker with our names, we'd put on the outer envelope.

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
chmpgnrose- I used almost the exact same seal.
Jenn- I also put them on my out envelopes. No envelope licking - yuck. But I think the inners are suppose to remain unsealed.

Re: Yet another dumb invite question
I am pretty sure that the inside envelopes remain unsealed. But as everyone else says no one will no the difference. If you like them inside then put them there. It is getting closer congrats!!!
