yoga classes or any other class at NYSC

i signed up for NYSC ... as part of my aim to lose weight and be toned, today im planning to go after work, has anyone ever been to any of the classes they have hatha yoga class, spinning classes, and a few others, just wondering if anyones gone how are htey?

I haven't gone to any , only the kickboxing class as I stated in the last thread about NYSC. However, my mil's old boss used to do the spinning class and he said it was great. The treadmills are in the same area as the class (next to the room) and when you are working out you always hear them in there, it looks intense. The spinning class just is too crazy for me lol

I can't even think about pedaling on a bike and standing up for 15 minutes. I am sure its a great workout, but that would killll mee. I would deff try it though.

thanks!!! btw i went to the yoga class there were 15 ppl there it was nice! and than i ran on the treadmill...my first day at the gym everr.r..i am soo exhausted

lol yay!! 15 people aren't so bad. That sounds like a good class size. Did you like it???

I need to get back into doing something :( I should leave my yoga ball out as motivation lol

I've taken a few of their yoga classes and thought they were pretty good...crowded though. That's a nice sized class. Which club did you go to?

I took an abs class at NYSC last year I went about 3 times and that was all I needed to see results...I was in pretty good shape, but it still kicked my abs into nicely sculpted tummy, just in time for the wedding...ha ha then I stopped going!

The class size was good, about 12 people so you got the individual attention from the instructor

the classes at the one by me are ALWAYS packed. not sure about the yoga ones; spin you have to sign up for.

i live in hewlett harbor, so i went to the one in woodmere its like 5 minz away from my house, and i went on a snow day so the instructor said the class was small typically we have 25 ppl.!
