Your stainless steel silver

I registered for stainless steel rather than 'real' silver. For anyone else who has stainless steel, are you treating it like real silver - only using it on special occasions - or as your everday silveware?

The reason I ask is that our stainless steel goes really well with our fine china but not as well with our casual china. I'm not sure I should purchase it if it doesn't match with both?

The first pic is the silverware we registered for. The last pic is one that seems to match both but DH was just 'eh' about it.

I have 2 sets- 1 for every day- $100 52pc set

and my kate spade $50 a place setting I am treating like silver and using it only on speical ocasssions- my husband has a tendency to sometimes throw away the fork-( don't ask) I would hate for him to chuck a good one
