While assembling your invitations, number each address in the list or use the Excel row number. Write each guest's list number on the back top corner of their response card, then assemble & mail. If someone forgets to write their name on the response card (yes, it really happens), you can cross-reference the response card number to the guest list and keep accurate track of your guests.
