I really don't like my engagement ring, it's not my style. Is there anything I can do? First sleep on it for a few days, it might grow on you. If you truly hate it, however, you owe it to yourself and your fiance to be honest. Should you decide to speak up, be direct and say something like 'This ring is gorgeous, an I know you spent time picking it out. But ever since I was little, I've dreamed of....' If he seems hurt, reassure him that you love what it represents, and you just want it to feel like you. Ultimately, that's what he wants, too!
