We recently had our wedding reception at the Bourne Mansion. From first walking through the doors, we were immediately impressed with the beauty of the mansion. It was unlike any space I had seen with it's high ceilings, beautiful architecture and detail throughout. Once we decided to have our reception there, we were hoping for more communication with the sales team about payment dates and some other arrangements, but in the days before the wedding and that night we were blown away with the staff. Steve was our maitre d' for the evening. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all night. Our drinks were constantly filled, he was always asking if there was anything we needed from food to drinks to a cold towel to wipe down our cheeks. He was very attentive and helpful. The wait staff was friendly and worked hard. The plan was to have our cocktail hour on the gorgeous back patio but unfortunately it poured. The silver lining was the the inside cocktail hour allowed for everyone to see the inside of the mansion, which many commented on how awesome it was. We were also told that the food was the best wedding food they've ever had. It was a wonderful night!
