Smithtown Landing Country Club

We had my daughter’s bridal shower here today, September 22, 2019 and we highly recommend Smithtown Landing. Everything done today to help us couldn’t be better and the shower was enjoyed by all our guests. I received numerous emails after the shower complimenting the food, the staff, the room and everything about the time spent there and we want to thank Pat, Mise and Ryan for your excellent service and care to everything we needed. Kudos to all and our sincere thanks.

We got married in October which was a huge factor in why we chose Smithtown Landing as it is set in the woods, fall foliage is lush throughout the property including the outdoor ceremony backdrop. We worked with Kim all leading up to the wedding who was a calming, flexible, responsive, and positive force throughout the process. Abhi was the manager on site day of and he was extremely helpful and supportive. My husband and I are both vegan so picking a venue that could successfully create and accommodate an entirely vegan menu was a top priority and concern for us. We created a vegan menu and proposed it to them and they embraced it and rose to the challenge and wildly surpassed our expectations in terms of presentation and taste from cocktail hour fare to reception. Our guests were blown away with the flavor, and as a result many have a very different perspective on "vegan food" and are much more open and eager to try more of it as a result of the taste and variety the chef prepared for our wedding. Steve was our maitre d and was just incredible. We had a variety of extenuating circumstances arise throughout the day, and Steve was extremely attentive, calming, and helpful in navigating through all of them and doing everything in his power to not let them damper our day. The staff set up all our decor beautifully, better than I imagined or envisioned. My only constructive feedback is that my bridal attendant Pat was MIA most of the day, and in speaking with another person who was married at Smithtown Landing earlier that month she had the same feedback with regard to that particular bridal attendant. But if that's my only complaint I'll take it, just keep that in mind and make sure your bridal party/family are around and aware of tasks to assist to offset that. We wholeheartedly recommend Smithtown Landing. It is a stunning yet simple venue.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Smithtown Landing Country Club and we could not have had a better experience! Abhi and Kim were extremely helpful to us and made sure every detail was perfect and exactly what we wanted! The food was excellent, the rooms were beautiful, the staff was kind, especially our Maitre'D, Joe, who made sure everything ran smoothly, he was excellent! All of our guests told us what a wonderful time they had and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend Smithtown Landing Country Club, our wedding was everything we ever dreamed of!
