Church of Ancient Ways

Our ceremony was performed by Marie April Gismondi of Church of Ancient Ways. We could not be happier with the entire experience working with her. She created for us a completely custom ceremony, was always quick to respond to any e-mails and was very helpful in walking us through the more logistical paperwork side of things as well. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early and got right to business setting up and getting the required paperwork signed and out of the way. During the ceremony, her performance was truly beautiful. I specifically requested a 'spiritual not religious' ceremony- which she provided, but even my devout Catholic mother-in-law was pleased! So kudos for that! Overall a great experience with an outstanding talented professional!

April Gismondi is AMAZING!! We had her as our wedding officiant for our June 18th wedding and she could not be more gracious, sweet, helpful and super friendly! Also, she would always get back to us and was there if we ever had any questions. We 100% recommend her to anyone seeking an incredible wedding officiant. All of our guests complimented the way she conducted our ceremony and all of her spoken words--they said it was beautiful and unlike any ceremony they have ever been to. Thank you April!!!!!

Rev. Marie April Gismondi brought such an incredibly personal touch to our wonderful wedding ceremony. She was with us throughout the entire process; from meeting with us and discussing our feelings about each other and our relationship; to the creation and editing of our unique and beautifully personal wedding ceremony. Her guidance allowed us to truly make the ceremony our own; and unique and special to our relationship. She is creative, and supportive, while being completely professional. She took our emotions and wove them into touching words, that made our day even more special.

Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without the work that April put in. We met with her as a couple for over an hour months before the wedding so she could get to know us and gather material for our ceremony (which she sent to us via email so we could edit as we saw fit). We were able to customize every word if we chose too. Additionally, in addition to acting as our officiant, she also provided all of the information for obtaining our marriage license and was readily available for all of the questions that we had. April is professional, friendly and was a pleasure to work with . We definitely would recommend April to our friends and family.
