they made the day even more fun! paulo and boy wonder not only took all the photos that i had requested, they made it enjoyable for the whole bridal party. I would highly recommend studio 27!

We absolutely loved Studio 27! From how easy it was to work with them to schedule everything to the actual day. Neo did both our engagement shoot and wedding pictures and it was just so easy to work with him. Kyler did our video and same thing there. They had to follow us around all day but we never felt like they were a bother! Would definitely recommend and use them again!!!

Studio 27 Photo, Video, DJ, MC and Percussionist A++++++ We had read so many reviews and Studio 27 did not disappoint us! WOW, is all I can say about all the services from Studio 27. We had Neo as photographer, Jennifer was the assistant. They came to our hotel. It was chaotic with the bride, bridesmaids, flower girls in adjoining rooms, BUT Neo made everything work. I saw Neo behind a wooden ladder that the we made, holding his camera lens between some of the decorations on the ladder. Neo was spotted lying behind some bushes, I am excited to see how those shots came out. It is true what I have read about him, he is a Ninja! Paul the video guy was so great! He leaped over a bed to get my flip flops off the bed so they would not be in the photos. We had him laughing! He was great at the reception, barely knew he was there. Can’t wait for my video! We have a bearded dragon, and we had no one to watch him, so he also came with us. Neo, Paul and Jennifer was loving the lizard! They put the top hat on him, the ring on his little leg and took pictures of our lizard. I write this review before I get my pictures because I know they will be beautiful! I have no doubt. I also used their DJ services and hired their percussionist they were equally as fantastic. My guests have been raving about! Steve was the MC, and is the best! He got the guest up and dancing. Steve was FANTASTIC! They played all the songs we requested and we left the rest to them. I recommend their DJ and percussionist highly!

The team at Studio 27 is top notch. The quality of their photographs are second to none. They provided a live edit during our wedding that everyone still raves about. When looking for services, start with Studio 27 and you will quickly realize you don't need to look further. My friend used them and we were lucky he recommended us to them. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing our final wedding video and photo album.

From the time that we booked with them on through our engagement photo session and up to our wedding just one week ago, Studio 27 has far beyond exceeded our expectations! They are so easy and flexible to work with, and their office manager Lauren is extremely quick and responsive to the slightest question or request that you may have. Chris, our photographer, and Paul, our videographer, along with their assistants made capturing all the love and fun of our wedding day simple and seamless. They arrived early to the house and immediately collected props for detail shots since they knew I was still getting ready and wanted to accommodate me, my family, and bridesmaids. Chris and Paul got the shots they needed while keeping us on schedule and also not being intrusive so that we could really enjoy the day. While it was a long day of shooting, they along with their assistants kept everyone in good spirits with their jokes and smiles. Based on our engagement photos (which were gorgeous!), we can't wait to see the photos and video from our actual wedding day! From the service with a smile to their artistry with photo and video, Studio 27 is worth every penny, and my (now) husband and I recommend them wholeheartedly to other couples looking for just the right people to capture this special day.

Tell us about Studio 27 and what makes your services so special, different and unique.
Studio 27 is a high end video/photography studio, focusing on capturing the raw emotion of a bride & groom’s day. Our photography approach is very photo journalistic, and our videos are shot very cinematic and documentary style. Our videos are all shot with DSLR’s in High Definition delivering a finished product unlike anyone in the market today.

Tell us about the latest trends your seeing in weddings when it comes to photography/videography and how you are keeping up with and/or keeping ahead of the trends.
Soon to be the latest trend in wedding video is shooting each event in High Definition using DSLR cameras. The use of DSLR cameras gives a unique look to the finished product. The images are crystal clear and colors will pop off of your screen. Our trained shooters can utilize the unique depth of field that a DSLR lens can give and a standard High Definition Video camera cannot. The photography trend is becoming very photojournalistic. A style we have mastered years ago.

Explain to the couples why having a skilled and creative photographer/videographer is essential to such a milestone event and what they should look for.
Having a skilled photographer/videographer is essential if you want to capture all the details and emotion of your day. Trained men and woman know what to look for. They can visualize the finished product, as the shots are being taken or set up. Nothing will be missed.

What is your formula for making sure each shoot is unique and that all special moments are captured and recorded for posterity?
Our formula for making each shoot unique is simple. Getting to know the bride and groom is essential. Understanding their personalities, the things they want and don’t want. We understand the timeline and we keep to it. We give ourselves plenty of time to capture everything without being intrusive and annoying.

What sets Studio 27 apart from others?
What sets Studio 27 apart from most of our competitors is our commitment to the Bride and groom. We DO NOT book more than we can handle. Our staff is OUR staff and knows every shooter in our studio. Many of the studios we have worked for before we opened Studio 27 have called in shooters a week or two before and have no idea the quality of their work. Believe me it is out there. We keep our volume low and our satisfaction rate high!

How do you want your couples and their guests to remember you when the party is done?
We want to be remembered as a studio that was easy to work with, delivered what they promised, were unobtrusive in their approach, listened to what the couple wanted and created a natural, fun atmosphere, making it easy for everyone to act naturally and casually.

When should couples begin thinking about photography/videography in their planning process?
Couples should begin interviewing photographers and videographers about a year out, depending on how many they plan on seeing. A studio like ours which limits it’s bookings per day book sooner than large studios that will use anyone as long as they can grab your deposit.

What are some things or information YOU need (from the couple) to ensure a job well done?
In order to ensure a job well done, we will need accurate timing of the day. If a couple has specific family photos, we will need that list as well. We want to know how comfortable they are in front of a camera therefore we include a complimentary engagement shoot with even our basic packages.

When should a couple book your services?
Couples should book as soon as they feel comfortable.

How many times do you meet with couples before the big day and what sort of things do you discuss at these 'meetings of the mind'?
Meetings with couples are not limited to any number. We typically will meet three to four times before the wedding day. Once for them to gather info, second to sign a contract. Third for an engagement shoot and fourth to go over all final details. If a couple wants to meet again, our doors are always open and our phone lines always available.
