Park SLope, Brooklyn:

Stone Park Cafe on fifth ave and 3rd st
- american food. not boring at all. the food's very good!

Cocotte on fifth ave and 1st street
- country french food. not 1st street.. it's 4th street

Blue Ribbon Sushi on fifth ave and 1st st
- sushi! need i say more??

they get pretty busy so make sure you either get there early or make your reservations ahead of time. hope you make it to these restaurants because they're really good.

you must live near me! LOL

these are all great. then there is
Al Di La on 5th Ave & Garfield (incredible italian)
oh yes...and for dessert..
the Chocolate Room on 5th Ave by St. Marks...

there is also a small cozy restaurant called Convivium Osteria...on 5th by Bergen Street.

I can look up addresses if you are interested...I just know where they are by osmosis. LOL

Try Michael's - I've had everything from my communion party to Sweet 16 there. The food is amazing. It's definitely one of the best restaurnts you'll find in Brooklyn

i only WISH i could afford Park Slope! I LOVE the area. hub and i were walking toward our car from barnes & noble and saw this beautiful town house with a for sale sign. we called that number that was on the sale sign and got a quote. $3.1mill!!! can we say YIKES! we currently live in sheepshead bay and the commute's approx 15min. not so bad for what i'm paying for rent. i can only admire from a 15minute drive away. =D

Bay Ridge....

Love Areos..but would stay away on V-day..it is a circus on the weekends, can you imagine on a holiday??

Bay Ridge:
Saams
Pearl Room
Sophia's (next door to areos)
Tuscany Grill
Chianti's (family style, but has some ind. dishes)

If you like chinease/asian food, there is a place on 4th and 101 street right across from 101's. I heard good things about them.

Coney Island:
Gargulios...almost had my wedding there..food is AMAZING!

Wherever you go, i would make reservations now!!!

I really like Cebu in Bay Ridge. We went for NYE a couple years ago and had a very nice & delicious meal. They also do a good brunch, and service is great.

cebu has really great food.. but if your looking to get dressed up.. i wouldn't recomend it.. i think it's more of a casual restaurant.. but the food is really good
