Hi! I just went through this for my friends parents. Here were some of her ideas (I think she went w. the 50's music)! GOOD LUCK!

A CD with the music that was popular in the 1956.

A cello bag of chocolates wrapped in gold foil tied with a gold ribbon.

A small, gold tone picture frame with a portrait of the couple.

A split of champagne that has been personalized for the event.

I might be crazy...lol but what about a picture frame with a picture of them when they got married??? I think that would be cool!!!!

For my grandparent's 50th the favor was crystal ice buckets. They were really nice and always used at family functions esp for the holidays!

and definitely incorporate Hershey Kisses with ALMONDS (Gold wrappers) for their 'Golden Anniversary'.

I like the idea of the mixed tape/CD of the year they got married.

I also REALLY like the framed picture of them from their wedding day idea... LOVE that!

for FH parents 25th anniversary this weekend we made chocolate lollypops that say 25 on them and tied them w/ organza ribbon they can out really pretty. ANd the whole thine to make can our to like $20 for everything and we made about 50
