Just checking up on my fellow 04 Brides, wanting to see if any of us have done anything new and also just to say hi.

New things:
Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book
Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells
Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

That is what has been going on with me.

I have been doing the same thing to everyone, 'I'm getting married next year'

I am making an appointment today for Feb 22 to a bridal shop that I know has the dress I want. AHHH I am going bridal gown shopping....

I am also doing a bridal party gtg for my girls Jan 18 because no one knows each other so this would be a good chance for everyone to meet.

The e-party is suppose to be April 26 (right now with my grandmother sick a few things are up in the air) So far thats the date we planned on for the e-party.

Time is going to fly by.....

Well girls we can officially say we are getting married next year...
We have 17 months...
I don't know about you, but last year flew for me...if this year goes as fast the wedding is gonna be here before I know it...
I have so much still to do

I haven't said that I'm getting married next year nearly as much as I've said I'm turning 29 this year!!

I have a crazy wedding planning weekend coming up. Saturday, we are booking the flowers (hopefully) and Monday we will both take a vacation day to go to 3 diffferent band appts. Wish me luck! Hope everyone has a great new year!!

Where going to start our vendors soon. I just cant believe next year is my wedding...ahhhhh...

FI and I sat and talked yesterday about things we want to do this year and what we are starting and things for next year.

He got a federal job and in a year can get a transfer. The house we want to have built will approve us on the morgage with a transfer letter. If he gets the transfer letter in July, we're going to go and sign for construction in August and by early next year the house will be built. We have friends that live in FL already so I'll go down early and live with our friends until the house is complete, then when its done and he has the OK to go he'll be down.

My dad and uncle are selling my grandmothers condo in FL and my dad is giving me his share to pay for the wedding and to go towards the house. My dad told me to consider this as a gift from my grandparents.

So we're just taking it all one day at a time and making plans for the future

We are going to make appts to look at limos...i am going to start looking for girls dresses ans flowers...I ahve to start my save the date cards...I am fussing with them now.

I don't know why but I keep forgetting about dj's - I'm totally and utterly consumed with my photographer and my flowers... flowers I just want to book and be done with but I 'm making lists upon lists of photographers to go see... in every black and white pic I show FH he complains that the black isn't black enough!! All I'm looking for are nice pictures!

I started getting my BM's gifts. I am getting them a mix of stuff. I am getting a bag with their name etched on it and filling it with lots of stuff. One of my bridesmaids is my sorority sister and our mascot is the dolphin and I found a dolphin picture frame I am putting in her bag. I love all this wedding stuff.

Alford: Tri Delta (Delta Delta Delta)

New years was good. FI's little cousins who are 4 and 5 adore him and were using him as a human ladder. One was sitting on his shoulders while the other was hanging on his legs. I was more excited watching them climb all over him then it being new years eve.

I just made my appointment for Feb 22 to go to a dress shop. I have a magazine picture of the dress I LOVE and I really really really want. I cant wait to go and try it on. AHHHH I am so excited.

Nothing much going on as of yet. We have an appt with a dj on Wedn for the eparty. We have heard him before so we are booking him based on that. Florists is my next mission. And of course the dress!

I am going Feb 22 to try on dresses, I have started with the BM's gifts, FI and I found a wreath we are going to put around the taper candles the hall provides, we started getting ideas for centerpieces.

I am taking the day off on 1/17 so I will be coming from home. That is my plan so far.
