To my '08 girls;
I seriously can not believe this day has come. I remember when I was a little girl, my dad was video taping me asking me about who I was going to marry one day....I must have been 4 or 5 years old and I told my dad I was marrying Prince Charming (although a 4 year old with a long island accent, it kind of sounding like PWINCE CHAWMINGGGG).....well...22 years later, here I am. In about 6 hours i'll be waking up (if i sleep) to go get my hair and makeup done in preperation for the BEST day of my life. The rehearsal dinner was awesome! My in-laws and Momma Lombardi's did an amazing job and we really did have a blast. I gave my girls a beautiful earring and necklace set from a jeweler upstate (Glenn Peter) and DF gave his guys Armani Code gift sets (they loved it!).
But now it's time to say good bye as a single woman, to the girls who have been sooooooo soooooo soooooooo amazingly wonderful to me throughout the past year and a half of planning. You have all given me so much help, support, information, and smiles that I really can't even begin to imagine what i'd ever have done without. When I meet someone who is newly engaged and I ask them if they are a LIW bride...and they say No.....i'm just like

WHYYYYYY??? lol
I don't know what I would have done without this site and especially without my fellow 08 girls.
This past week has been devastating with losing Lisa, but you all gave me a great place to vent and know that no matter what you guys were there to support me. I really wish I knew every single one of you face to face because you have all just been so great this week...I just wish I could thank you in person.
I thought this day couldn't get here quick enough and now that it's here, it just doesn't even feel real. All of the fittings, appointments, phone calls PHONE CALLS PHONE CALLS, contracts, money, time, raving, venting, all of it....it was all worth every single minute, every single tear, every single cent. Even though I still can't quite believe it, knowing I am going to be a married lady today is the absolute BEST feeling in the world.
With that said, the HM is set for Riu-Aruba. I promise that although the entire review will probably take a while, I will post about Riu ASAP. I know there are quite a few of you who booked or will be, so I promise to post that info for you asap. We will be back April 13th.
