I want to learn calligraphy too!
It is just wedding insurance...I call it snow insurance! I was concnerned about a giant snow storm forcing us to cancel our wedding and our BM at the Fox Hollow suggested wedsafe.com . You can insure your wedding and they pay back for certain cancellation reasons.
And I bought a calligraphy kit today! It was $14 in Barnes & Noble and it is for beginners. I figure whil I have so much time why not try and leanr...I have no intention of paying to get my invites done, I would just do labels on the computer if anything, but why not give ita shot myself!

Getting Married 2/18/06
We are both finishing up our Bachelor's while working job/jobs ....FH will be an English Teacher...I'll be a Social Studies Teacher

The hall the church pre-cana favors photography Limo(well as soon as the guy gets back from vacation)
I can't wait.....it seems far away but when I say how many weeks are left (about 57) I freak out because it seems so close.... I'm looking forward to swapping wedding planning ideas and crises

I'm Missy - just got engaged Christmas Eve of 2004 to my bf of 3.5 years. We met at Mulcahy's in Wantaugh!
I work in CT in the Oil Shipping industry and FH is an attorney in Lake Success.
So far I booked the hall and church - now looking for photograpghers and DJs and color scheme.

hi all. my name is tania and dear hubbie is Will. We are already married but we are planning on renewing our vows. We have been going back and forth between ny or mexico and after doing a lot of research we realized that we couldn't have the wedding that we wanted for such a small budget among other things. so we decided to take a trip to the mayan riviera and do it there with our daughter, just us. I can't wait, hoping for may or june 2006.

Hi Debbie! Obviously Im Antoinette my screen name doesn't hide much. Paul is my FH and we have been together for 4 years on Dec. 31st. We have 5 beautiful kids between us all of which Paul is raising as his own. We were engaged on Memorial day of 04 and will be getting married on Memorial day of 06. Right now unfortunatly we live with his parents in Freeport. Paul is a driver for Budweiser and Im in school working toward a degree in Nursing. If I get accepted into the program in the fall I'll only have the intern to do. We have only booked the hall so far. North Ritz Club in Syosset

hello all my '06 brides to be!! my name is Sarah and fh is Chris. we got engaged on nov 1,2003 and 2006 felt like an eternity then. but now that we can say we're getting married next year, things are starting to look up. let's see, we have our hall, church, limo's and photo/video. the rest will get done this year, after my sister's wedding in august. now all we need is our OWN BOARD!! wake up ron & liz, there are a million of us and we will start crashing the '05 board if we have to!!

my name is Jamie, FH name is Steve. We have been together for about 2 1/2 years...and I also have a 4 year old little boy that I adore.
I am getting married Feb 17, 2006 and I cannot wait! Time is going to fly.
So far we have booked hall, dj, photo, video, and we have to go to the church on Thurs. Then I think I will be taking a break and maybe plan the engagement party. Anyways I'm sure we will be talking alot to eachother over the next year, so lets have fun. Oh and HAPPY NEWYEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't mention..........We were dating almost 2 1/2 years before he proposed on my b-day back in september.
We have the hall, DJ, church and florist. i'm going for my gown next month and shopping for a photographer soon also.
i work in syosset as a secretary. my FH is a volunteer fireman in merrick and recently (june 2004) started FDNY......City Patrolman is his actual title.

We went out for a little over a year and then went our separate ways for almost a year. We're back now stronger than ever (going on 6 months now) and I cannot wait to start planning.
We're looking into apartments in Suffolk until we can afford a house.

Hi all, I am Kristen & FH is Jason...Jay proposed on April 10, 2004 & we are getting married march 31, 2006...We met while junior's in college but didn't get together until we graduated. We just just celebrated our 3 year anniversary over the summer!
I work in Military Aircraft Manufacturing here in Bethpage...FH works in restuarant sales in Manhattan..
So far we have the church, hall, photo/video, my dress ordered & my shoes, BM dresses ordered...We know who we are using for Flowers...I can't wait to get to know all of you better

I'm Amy and my FI is Chris. We both live in Queens, well at least I do. Right now FI is several leagues under the sea. He is a submarine navigator for the US Navy.
