'06 Brides...What have you been up to lately?

Are you buying a house? Enjoying a new baby?Having a baby? TTC?

We are still TTC - hanging in there and remaining as positive as possible.

I was going to put in some baby dust but apparerently that doesn't exist on LIW anymore

All we have been doing every weekend...is Working on our house. This weekend we put in 4 windows and a French door to the deck.

I can not believe how well we work together and I'm surprising myself on how much work I can do!

We moved to CT because of DH's new job and are starting the house buying process as well and starting to talk about TTC. I'm also thinking about going back to school, and I've also started a small business. Busy, busy!

I don't think babydust ever existed on LIW, only on LIF.

As for us, we're looking to get our basement finished this spring so we're getting some estimates.

We've been talking about starting to TTC but I'm on the job hunt first.

been so busy-- was up in NY the last 2 weeks..but finally settled babck home in MD.... i swear Im not BUDGINGoutta the house til we move in May.!!!

Same old stuff. Currently TTC to like Leslie, trying to stay as positive as I can be. We are still changing things around in the house & making it more & more of a home for us. Was just away last weekend visiting with my family & really had a nice time.

For all those TTC, and for you all!!!!

DH and I just finished the numerous summer weddings and vacations and we're just relaxing now, enjoying our new home, getting ready for the holidays since we're hosting, and playing with our little Daisy, who seems to be getting smarter by the day (or at leats I pray that is what is happening!)

Nothing big is in the plans for us anytime soon, just enjoying life with each other, and seeing friends and family!!! Our door is always open for any '06er who wants to hang out!

Hi girls...

I have been so swamped at work lately I have not been on LIW in weeks!!! Miss it!!!

DH and I are heading to Aruba later this month...Oct. 27th to be exact...to celebrate our 1st Anniv which isn't until November but the week before our wedding is also the 1st anniv. of DH's dad's death so he really didn't want to go away at all in November as I think it's going to be a difficult time for him and his family. So an early anniv. trip is planned. 1st time to Aruba so we're really looking forward to it.

Also just started house hunting but in CT. Wish we could move to LI b/c we both grew up there but DH works in CT and the commute is starting to really get to him (we live in NYC now...I work in NYC so I'll eventually be the one commuting).

I just chopped 4 inches off my hair! MAJOR deal for me as I have always had long or medium length hair. It's now sitting on my shoulders but I like it a lot - I needed a change. Guess I waited a while to do the 'newlywed chop'...

That's about it for us....nothing else new really. Just really busy with work.

Glad to hear you're all doing well!
For those TTC I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

SOS. DH and i are doing great. We have a trip planned for Paris in Feb. We plan to TTC this winter/spring

We are finely starting to enjoy the house we are renting but its our first real place we got on our own. We are so happy here. Its been a VERY rough first yr, but we are making the best of it.
