06 Repost...Hawaiian Honeymoon?

Any girls planning/planned for Hawaii?
If so what islands? We met with Liberty Travel in Rego Park and the agent suggested Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. A doctor at my office just came back yesterday and suggested the Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island.

Any feedback or suggestions? Thanks

You should definitely consider Kauai - the garden isle. It is so beautiful and less touristy - which is ideal :)

We're planning to do 100% Maui - since we just vacationed to Kauai last year. It is tempting to go back though cause it was a blast Someone I was just talking to about HMs said they did Maui and Oahu, but wished they had only done Oahu for a day trip. It is more metropolitan and crowded.

We went to Kauai and Maui and I definately recommend the combo. We absolutely LOVED Kauai and Maui was beautiful too!

I think this is the best combo - with maybe a day trip to Pearl Harbor I may try to convince FH to go to Kauai for a few days even though we have already been there - we could stay in Princeville this time instead of Poipu

We did Oahu as a day trip on the day we were going to go home and BOY are we glad we did!
Honolulu was so crowded and touristy. I couldn't stand it for the few hours we were there!

We did Maui 5 nights, Kauai 4 nights and Big Island for 3 and it was perfect!!

I just got back and this is exactly what we did. Although we did not do the day trip to Oahu, as I couldnt find it cheaper than $250 per person.

We are in the process of booking. This is our tentative itinerary:
Maui 5 nights, the Big Island (Kona) 3 nights and then going to the wine country for 3 nights.... for those of you who've been to Hawaii...is that enough time for all that? are we better off just sticking w/Hawaii and forgetting about CA?
