Hi ladies, Sorry to crash your boards but I am having trouble deciding on a photography package. The original package we went with was for just one photographer but now I am second guessing that. The studio we chose offers a package with two photographers - one for the traditional pics and one for the photojournalism pics. I can't decide if I should choke up the extra cash for the 2nd photographer or just stick with the package I chose. So, I turn to you and your wonderful advice. Anybody have any expierence/suggestions they can offer me?

I was contemplating the same decision when we were looking for a photographer...in the end we ended up going with the 2 photographers....Ihaven't gottne my proofs back yet but I am glad that we did do 2. One photographer was with me and my girls getting ready and the other was with DH and his guys...he said they had a blast with the photographer taking pics and laughing...plus I saw some pics off the photojournalistics camera before he left the wedding and I was amazed and what he got...I can't wait to see my proofs

I was debating the same thing when I met with the photographer. I was thinking I'd 'save money' going with only one. My mom was with me and she reminded me that pics are all that I'm going to have from the wedding after the day is over so I shouldn't skimp on them!
I don't have my proofs yet either, hopefully soon!

Re: 07er Needs some help
We had two photographers and it worked out pretty well because they both took some of the same shots but at different angles, one was over 6 foot tall and one was 5 foot so they got different perspectives, one was outside, one was inside...
It worked pretty well for us. I guess it comes down to how much extra it is for 2 photographers and if you can swing it? There are people who only had one and have gorgeous proofs.
Good luck!

We did the same thing when we first booked our photographer. But in the end we did get 2 photographers and we were so glad that we did. They took different angles of pictures at the same time. My proofs are in my album. We love how ours came out. But it was important to use to capture the whole day from start to finish with both of us. Good Luck with your decision.

Re: 07er Needs some help
I struggled with the '2nd photographer' decision too. In the end, we wound adding the additional photographer and couldn't be happier with our choice. We love so many shots that we know he captured and it was a great investment for us...because like Ali said...in the end the photos are what you have to remember the day.
I had a hard time convincing DH because of the additional $ it costed. He would only do it if our photographer agreed to adding some additional photos to our album. So he negotiated that. I finally got him to admit the other day that adding a 2nd photographer was worth it!
Good luck!

Re: 07er Needs some help
We were not sure what we should do wither, but in the end we decided to save the money and only get one photographer. We have so many family members that love taking pictures and I knew they were all going to be taking so many pictures, so I counted on them to give me their pictures as kind of our action shots. Between all of our family, we got over 3000 pictures (and I would say I LOVE at least 2500 of them just as much as I love my professional shots), so I am happy we ended up saving the money. The only thing I wish I had were some professional shots of DH getting ready, but again my brother did bring his camera so I got some non-professional shots.
