Loved, Loved Kaui and Maui. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for both Islands and both were beautiful hotels in great locations.

I really can't pick!! Oahu was awesome for nightlife and a busier day.....Kona on the big Island was prob our fav b/c it was sooooo laid back and it was BEAUTIFUL with dolphins everywhere and a huge volcano nearby, Maui was beautiful and we surfed there (also a great luau), we didn't love kuai as much as everyone else, but I think we were at the wrong places

You really can't go wrong with Hawaii

I second this. We stayed the same resort. The Grand Hyatt Kauai is not to be missed. It's unbelieveable. Kauai is a little more quiet than maui but there's still plenty of activities to do. We really loved Kauai.

Whatever you do, GO TO MAUI!!!! Loved it! And go there last.

You can start on Oahu - North Shore is less commercialized, Waikiki is more city/beach like or on the Big Island (we really liked Kona), or on Kauai if you want just natural landscapes and a really laid back atmosphere.
