Hi ladies, I'm really thinking about booking Vinny from High Voltage for our wedding next June. He seemed really cool, and i liked his style. Here is my question for people who used him. Did you guys have an MC? and if so...is Vinny the MC or does he just DJ from the back of the booth. If thats the case, then why does everyone rave about Vinny if hes just playing music?

Vinny made all the announcements for my wedding. I didn't want an MC that was going to be on the dance floor putting on a show and dragging people up to dance. I wanted a DJ that was going to follow my must play/do not play list, who was a professional. In Vinny that is exactly what I got. A professional that did his job exactly as he and I had discussed, who also went above and beyond by coordinating with my very unusual ceremony location.

I did not get an MC, Vinny did all of the announcements. Although he plays the music the day of the wedding, the way he treats you before your wedding, the day of your wedding, and after your wedding is just amazing and I think that is what most girls mean when they say Vinny is so great. He was a vendor that I never worried about, was always honest with me, and went above and beyond on the day-of. He is the BEST!!!!!! I would recommend him to anyone and know (100% confident) that he would treat them just as wonderful as he treated me!

Vinny was great! I didn't use an MC but he had a helper with him. He handled everything and did a fantastic job.
I think you only need an MC if you are worried that your guests need some prodding out to the dance floor.
