Just curious, how long did before your wedding did you order your gown? I have heard the norm is usually one year before..My mom wants to go for me to get ideas..Im just thinking if i get one early i might change my mind...

I haven't bought anything yet. I think I'm gonna wait till I'm closer to a year, unless I get fed up, and just KNOW.

got mine in feb?... so then that would make it a year and 4 months till the wedding i also went cuz i figured id be in school and i didnt want to have to worry about both things cuz its a very important decision im glad i did it but im not going to lie i second guessed my self for a while and i still do sometimes... i also havent seen it since Feb but there had to be a reason i bought it!

i went looking last week and the lady at bridal reflections told me i dont have to place an order until August..I am getting married in July...You have plenty of time but if you find something you love, you might want to get it because it might not be there when you go back later on!!

I got mine really early because I fell in love with it - I got mine in November, so I got it over a year and a half away from my wedding

i ordered mine 11 months before the wedding it should be in 9/2 - 5 months before my wedding

I would start looking now, becuase my tastes changed A LOT in the last year & if I had just started looking now I don't know what I'd like! I was very educated about what I wanted, what I liked & didnt like etc & I thought last year that I would never find the perfect dress-- then I put one on and I just knew!!!

I would start looking, that way you can rule some styles out completely and focus on what you really like.
I ordered mine in Jan - and they said it won't be in until Aug...which leaves me 6 months to make sure I fit into it!! LOL
Honestly, I'm kind of nervous about that b/c the sample I tried on fit me perfectly, so that was the size they ordered...so basically, I can't gain a pound!

I picked mine out and they too my measurements last Saturday. I just got my shoes today so I have to go there again so they can measure for the special order hem length.
