08' Crasher...Advice about RSVP date/ mailing invites
I mailed my invites 2 months before the wedding and gave a RSVP date of 1 month before the wedding.
BIG MISTAKE!
I seriously recommend that you mail them 3 months before the wedding and give an RSVP date of 2 months before the wedding.
We are getting married next weekend and some people still haven't given us a 'definite' answer. These are close family are friends who I never thought I'd have this problem with (some are couples whose wedding was within the last year so I thought they would understand a freaking deadline). Despite repeated calls and 'threats' that we've made saying they can't come unless we get a final answer, there's not much we can do when these are my close family members! One person said they'll know 'for sure' on 9/5----the wedding is two days later!
Just some things I wish I had been warned about myself!
