08'er needs some B-list advice

Hi everyone,
I need some advice. Today was the RSVP due date. We are 15 under our minimum now. There are 25 who still didn't RSVP -- they are all people we are unsure about.
What do I do???
I feel really stupid about not allowing the 2 single friends who wanted to bring guests to bring them.
There are a couple of people I'd like to invite, but the RSVP card said today.
What do I do????

First, wait a few days for the last couple of RSVPs, if they dont respond then call, just say you havent received their RSVP and need to give the number of people to the hall-tell them maybe will not do. Once you know how many people you need to make your minimum send your B list.

Go to Staples and get business cards and print out different RSVP cards, I think they also have printable note cards, they may not match but you can swap them out with the ones with the past date.

If you absolutely need to-let your 2 single friends bring dates.

Agree with Peggie. That or you can call and just explain very nicely that you weren't sure about your space before but now you have room and you'd love it if they were able to come. Most people will understand.
