My veil is in progress, it was my Mom's . I had it in my closet since I'm a little girl (I think my Mom forgot what even happened to it))

I have removed it from her original lace headpeice. It is a 3-tier of which I have completed 2 tiers in swarovski beads! Its taking forever but I feel like its so worth it in the end!!

awww that is so sweet that you're gonna use your moms veil...my mother asked my dads mom recently where her wedding dress was bc my grandmother gave to my aunt to wear and my grandmother kept it in her house for some reason, and everytime my mom asked her she said oh its in a box stored and made it seem like a big deal to get it out of the box, now when my mom asked my grandmother said that when she moved a few years ago she left the dress behind bc what was the point of taking it with her i was so sad when my grandmother said this, i wish i can do this...i am sure it means alot to your mom

AWW i am so sorry that happened to you. i have had this veil in my closet forever. i used to play dress up all the time in it!! my mom and i have a good relationship, however since i got engaged my mom and i have become much closer. when i told her what i was going to do with her veil i thought she was going to cry!!

i really hope it will match my gown, which will not be in until Feb-08. as long as its close i am going to wear it, even if its not an exact match!!
