09er crashing...Invitation Envelope HELP!

Hey Girls! So my invites have an inner and outer envelope. Obviously the outer envelope is:

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
123 Nowhere Street
Happville, NY 12345


But should the inner envelope be:

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith

Or an informal:

John & Jane

HELP!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS ACCURATE!!

it's really up to your personal preference and how formal your wedding is! either way is fine! HTH

i kept it formal...

my inners read as:
mr. and mrs. xyz

its up to you - i wanted to keep it more formal

Thanks hun! What did you do about families. Like the outer would say Mr. & Mrs. & Family. Should the inner read the same or list the names of the children like:

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Johnny, April, Joe & Matt??

I believe the inner would just read
Mr. and Mrs Smith (no first name)
Alexandra, Melissa and Joseph (in age order - oldest first)

I just sent mine out.

I think its what you want. Whether you want them informal or formal.

Personally I did them....Mr & Mrs. Smith
